Been a while since I last posted on here, started to get the bug to update it again.

Well I've done quite alot since I last posted. I went on a camping holiday in October with my Scottish "family" and we had great fun, but a bit on the chilly side. We went on the speed boats around Derwant lake. Me & Adele had one boat and Jill, Jason and Ashley were in the other boat. I drove the boat out of the harbour then Adele carried on when we got in open water, she really enjoyed it.
We went go-karting too, Jason kicked my ass but I got the fastest lap and I just enjoyed powersliding the kart around the bends it was good fun.

After the 2 nights camping we went back to their place in Scotland for the weekend. The Saturday night it was one of the girls in the village 21st birthday party. She had invited everyone in the village and all her friends and had a party in the village hall.
I had 8 pints of Stella and that finished me off. I fell up some stairs on the way to the toilet (so I've been told) and I broke my little finger and fractured my hand. I didn't know what I had done at the time, I was p!ssed as a fart.

I drove home on the Monday with a dodgy hand and went to hospital on the Tuesday. I had x-rays and you could see the clear break in my finger, it didn't look good. The doctor told me to see the fracture specialist on Wednesday and see what he wanted to do with it. I went back the next day and seen the specialist, he told me I would need an operation and screws put in my finger so it would be "normal" again. I asked him when I'd get my operation, he told me the next day (Thursday) jeez they don't mess around do they? I weren't allowed to eat anything from midnight on the Wednesday until after my opearation. With my luck I didn't get called to the thearter until 12:15pm and I was bloody starving. I was in thearter for about 2 hours, when I came back around my whole hand was numb, it was great. I had to rest and eat before they let me go out of hospital.

2 weeks after my operation I went back and got my stitches took out. When I unwrapped the dressing I was nearly ill, it wasnt a very pretty sight. A nurse started taking my stitches out trying to be gentle, she couldn't get 2 of the stitches out so a foriegn doctor came in and just yanked them out lol and blood squirted everywhere, yes it hurt lol!!

I was back up Scotland at the weekend showing them my battle scars from the deadly village hall lol. I went up on the Friday afternoon and got there in time for Adele and Ashely finishing school. They came home and jumped on me straight away the little terrors, we had a play then we went to McDonalds for some tea. I spent the whole weekend chilling really, I helped Jason on Saturday afternoon rip the hall way floor up. Sunday we went for a 3 mile walk up a place called Grey Mere's tale (Google it). Me and Adele were the front walkers setting the pace and taking casual breaks to let the others catch up. The first part of the walk is a killer, it's just steps going up a verticle hill lol. The views were stunning though and definately worth the walk up.

I left Scotland to head home on Sunday night, Adele and Ashley never wanted me to leave and got upset, it was hard. I got pulled over by the police on the way home on the motorway. First time I've ever drove at a normal speed and I get pulled over, it was weird. They looked at my driving license and had a look around my car then they let me on my way, bit pointless really.

I had physio on Monday morning for them to try and get my bent finger back to normal. It was really painful when he first started, but after doing some "warm up exercises" the pain started to ease off a little. I was told that my finger could be straightend if I done exercises every day on it. He shown me what to do and I went off home to do them. (I have to go back tomorrow for a checkup, my finger just looks the same as last week :( )

I went back to work on Wednesday, I had 400+ emails to go through, and it was total crap.

Anyway, enough ramblings for one blog entry.

Goodnight.
